International Programmer’s Day September 17, 2008

A handful of programmers met on saturday afternoon to celebrate International Programmer’s Day. Ryan Feeley graciously offered up his house for the event. Fueled by plenty of sugar-packed treats and Tim Spurway’s pasta, we set about to take over of the world; byte by byte.
Unfortunately, we had no real breakthroughs although Tomas Lin [author of an upcoming book on Grails] nearly managed to get his mobile Large Hadron Collider working against the iTouch’s accelerator; a small blackhole emerged and gobbled up the gummi sours (it wasn’t me).
